New York, NY, September 24, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Latinos Unite to Help the Aftermath of Recent Natural Disasters.
Divas Leading Project Mama joins forces with PRFI and local Uptown Manhattan, Bronx, & New Jersey businesses for Hurricane Maria and earthquake relief.
"Bad things do happen in the world, like war, natural disasters, disease. But out of those situations always arise stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things." - Daryn Kagan
After the destructive path of Hurricane Maria through Puerto Rico and the earthquakes in Mexico, the Divas Leading Project Mama team has joined forces with PRFI and small businesses in various communities to collect donated items that will be delivered to the affected areas. The goal of this collaborative effort is to extend a lending hand to the victims of these natural disasters.
The following list contains suggested items that can be donated and brought to any of the drop-off locations.
Essential Supplies in High Demand
· Non-perishable foods (dry, canned/powdered): rice, beans, powered milk, cereal, nuts
· Bottled Water
· Batteries, flashlights, lanterns, candles, portable radios
· Personal hygiene products: soap, wipes, sanitary napkins, etc.
· Baby supplies: diapers, wipes, formula, solid food
