Foundation Formed to Support Down Syndrome Research and New Encouraging Treatment Protocol

The Foundation supports a new treatment protocol that has enabled increased capacity for learning in persons with Down syndrome. Developed by a mom whose son has Down syndrome, the treatment has enhanced the 11-year-old's skills in reading, comprehension and communication significantly. A documentary titled "Changing A Mind" filmed over two years shows the progress of 7 persons with Down syndrome on the treatment.
