The hospital saved more than USD $140,000 in licensing fees on the first interface it created, which linked data from medical devices monitoring patient's vital signs and made that information available to clinicians within the hospital. The second interface to be created with Rhapsody will establish a bi-directional information exchange between the pharmacy application and EMR, which is expected to save the hospital an additional USD $180,000. read more ...
