Hertz Family Foundation Completes $1 Million Support Grant to Aleh Foundation in Israel
Aleh, with four centers in Israel, cares for children with medical conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome, as well as genetic disorders including Tay-Sachs, Canavan disease and Rett syndrome. In 2009, Judah Hertz and his family have met pledges of more than $2 million made to programs in Israel.

Pharmacy Class of 2009 Achieves 97.26 Percent NAPLEX Pass Rate
The 2009 graduating class of the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Pharmacy achieved a 97.26 percent passing rate on the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) examination between May 1 and Aug. 1, nearly two percentage points above the average nationally for all those taking the exam.
