Study Reveals Low Levels of Melatonin in Those with Traumatic Brain Injury
The Brain Injury Law Center is sharing the results of a recent study that indicate that those who have suffered from traumatic brain injury may in turn have lower levels of melatonin than the average person which impacts quality of sleep. The results showed that the healthy subjects produced more melatonin and spent more time in REM sleep than those with brain injuries.
